These terms govern your use of Igloos, the publishing platform at igloos.ai, and publications hosted under its root domain.

The service

Igloos hosts your publication: a themed site, an editor, an email subscriber list and an AI agent that helps you build posts. The service is provided as is. We keep developing it and may change or discontinue features.

Your account

Keep your credentials confidential and your email address current. You are responsible for all activity under your account and for any third-party model provider API keys you connect. Each account comes with one publication.

Your content

You keep ownership of everything you write, upload, and build. By publishing through Igloos, you grant us the limited, non-exclusive license needed to store, render, and deliver that content on your publication, including generating preview images from your titles and covers. You are solely responsible for what you publish: it must be lawful and must not infringe the rights of others.

Subscriber data

You are responsible for collecting your subscribers' email addresses lawfully, honoring their unsubscribe choices, and using the list only as your readers expect. Importing a list requires that its owners explicitly agreed to receive communications from you. How we handle that list is in the Privacy Policy.

The Agent

Snowflake and MCP agents produce drafts, code, and suggestions for your review. You are responsible for what you publish, including any custom interactive code you accept into a post. Agents work only on your content — they cannot alter the platform, its code, or other publications, and you agree not to attempt to force or trick them to do so.

Acceptable use

Do not use Igloos to publish unlawful, infringing, or harmful material, to spam, to attack the platform or other publications, or to circumvent rate limits, access controls, or the sandbox's isolation. We may suspend or archive any publication that violates these terms.

Paid services, availability and termination

Igloos has no paid tiers, memberships, or billing today; if that changes, these terms will be updated first. We aim for a dependable service but do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation — you are responsible for keeping backup copies of work you cannot afford to lose. You can stop using Igloos at any time and request deletion of your account and data. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or applicable laws.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Igloos is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties or representations of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or security. The Operators do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

Limitation of Liability

  1. Statutory Exceptions: Nothing in these Terms shall exclude or restrict any liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the Control of Exemption Clauses Ordinance (Cap. 71 of the Laws of Hong Kong) or other applicable laws of Hong Kong.
  2. Exclusion of Consequential Losses: Subject to paragraph 1 above and to the maximum extent permitted by Hong Kong law, the individual operators, developers, and maintainers of Igloos (collectively, "the Operators," "we," "us," or "our") shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, revenue, goodwill, business interruption, or unauthorized access to user accounts.
  3. Aggregate Liability Cap: Subject to paragraph 1 above, the total aggregate liability of the Operators for any and all claims, damages, or losses arising out of or relating to Igloos (whether in contract, tort including negligence, breach of statutory duty, or otherwise) shall be HK$0. You acknowledge and agree that since Igloos is provided entirely free of charge, the Operators shall have no monetary liability to you whatsoever. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

  1. Governing Law: These Terms, their subject matter, and any non-contractual disputes or claims arising out of or in connection with Igloos shall be governed by and construed solely in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China ("Hong Kong").
  2. Jurisdiction: You irrevocably agree that the courts of Hong Kong shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of the service.
